Foz do Rio Claro HPP – 2nd turbine’s startup

Alupar Investimento received, as published in the Federal official Gazette, on December 2, 2010, the official authorization from the National Electric Power Agency (Aneel) to start the commercial operation of the second 34.2MW power generating unit of the “Engenheiro José Luiz Müller de Godoy Pereira” HPP.

Located between the cities of Caçu and São Simão, in southern Goiás, the hydroelectric power plant, has capacity for 68.4 MW, divided in two turbines and power assured of 41 MW.

The “Engenheiro José Luiz Müller de Godoy Pereira” HPP belongs to Alupar Investimento S/A (50.1%) in partnership with FI-FGTS (49.9%).
