Alupar launched power transmission system in MT

Alupar launched on Friday (16), in the state of Mato Grosso, the transmission system Nova Mutum / Nobres / Cuiabá. Confirming Alupar‘s expertise in managing projects of this size, the stretch Nobres / Cuiabá was anticipated at four months and the stretch Nova Mutum / Nobres delivered three months in advance.

With 235 km length, the transmission system was implemented by the Empresa de Transmissão de Energia do Mato Grosso S.A., a company formed by Alupar (60%) and Bimetal (40%). With this venture completed, Alupar now owns 4,950 kilometers of transmission lines in full operation, with 1,358 km only in the state of Mato Grosso. Other 715 km of transmission lines are being deployed in the northern region of Brazil.

The system Nova Mutum / Nobres / Cuiabá belongs to the National Interlinked System (SIN), which will divert the surplus power generated in the state of Mato Grosso and serve the metropolitan region of Cuiabá.
